There wasn’t a really standout commercial tonight.
The guerilla Tide commercials were fun, but not greatness. Lots of money spent on high end actors. Morgan Freeman lipsynching rap music isn’t going to get me to buy a product (what was the product anyway?)

Didn’t watch this year but the best Superbowl Ad of All Time must be this one:

Directed by Ridley Scott in 1984 (2 years after he did Blade Runner) and yes I saw this when it was first shown - I’m that old.

It’s a good practice for people in our profession to analyze the quality of advertisements. We did this kind of stuff in art school, but I think we should do it every year on this forum.

Before I saw this thread, I opened a separate thread. No need to post videos on that thread since this thread is opened. Instead, I’m inviting those interested to analyze just the 2018 videos posted here on that thread.

I’m getting too old and cranky to analyze anything. I like what I like and don’t have the energy or inclination to explain why :stuck_out_tongue:

After spending far too much time on Facebook for far too long I’ve had it up to my eyeballs with “opinions”
