Powers of Ten

Powers of Ten is a 1977 short film by Charles and Ray Eames that depicts the scale of the universe. I once read that, back in the day, it was only shown once a year on 10/10 or Powers of Ten Day.

Just the other day, I ran into a BBC redo of the Eames video.

That’s pretty funny that you just saw the remake. I had not seen that before.

This is amazing stuff, Steve & B. I love science and history. I may be 75-years young, but I am still learning and want to keep on learning. Long ago, I found that having a teachable spirit is one of the pre-requisites to creative thinking and is one of the keys to success in this field.

I can’t thank you both enough for sharing!

Ahh the voice of Professor Brian Cox.

I go to his lectures everytime he is on in Ireland. Love his live shows and TV shows.

I love how he explains retrograde
‘I’m going to explain it using a stick and some rocks’

So easy.
