Yeah, about the last thing I want to do is grab a rattler with tongs. That just pisses them off, then you gotta let them go, somewhere, somehow.
Just-B—I am curious . . . doesn’t your state have a disclosure law that compels sellers to disclose problems like this before a buyer buys the house? And did the previous owners disclose this problem to you pre-purchase?
Expecting a house in Utah not to have rattlesnakes is kinda like expecting a house in New England not to have water in the basement. Might happen. But more to be expected than not.

Thanks for the reply. It helps me understand your situation better. Personally, I have eight grandchildren and I would have been irate with the previous owner if he/she did not disclose this info pre-sale . . .oh well, looks like I’m not going to Utah anytime soon. LOL
