Real estate photos taken with love

Hello, this is my first post. I am a real estate photographer. Let me share my photos.
Your feedbacks ?

That’s funny. I usually take photos with a camera.

Did you use software to do the staging?
Your scaling is awful.
Or you’re using a fisheye lens.
Either way, there is just enough wrong-looking to be off-putting.

To @PrintDriver’s point, there is some perspective distortion from the wide angle lens; but I don’t think it’s anything terribly outside the ordinary for what you see with real estate photography. Overall, I think you’ve done a nice job. The verticals are straight; the blend of light from ambient, light fixtures, window light, and flash (if you’re using flash) looks nice; and the window exposures look nice. They are nicely styled. I’d say good job.

It’s the “new normal” for real estate photos.
I’m waiting for the day when ‘misrepresentation’ is a word.

As far as real estates go, they’re real estate photos. they look ok. Looks like AI staging in some, but that’s ok see that a lot more nowadays - there’s a big black ball in one photo. There’s a bathroom photo and the tiles in the mirror (which is fine) are not present in the rest of the bathroom, but it could be 1 wall tiled.

I like the photos. But wonder if some AI is removing the reality of room or inventing a reality.

Anyway, just some thoughts.

That’s funny :slightly_smiling_face: Yes, all photos are taken with a camera no shortcuts there. Thank you, glad you like it.

Thanks for sharing your point of view. A wide-angle lens is used to show space, which is standard in real estate photography, but I understand it’s not everyone’s preference.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it. I’m glad the lighting balance and verticals stood out to you.

I understand the concern. My goal is always to represent the space clearly while showcasing its best features, which is what clients expect in real estate photography today.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated.

Are you gonna tell us if you used AI or not? No judgement, just would like to know.

Yes, some images use virtual staging, but the photos themselves are real and not AI-generated. The goal is simply to help viewers better visualize the space while staying true to the actual layout. Thanks for asking.

OK thank for confirming. Yeh I’ve seen the virtual staging before - just wanted to say it’s a nice job on it.

If I go to be sincere with you, most of the images seems to be made by AI tool, and some images with the windows make it quite confusing.
