I am not a graphic designer… I am an animal lover who wants to imprint my “kids” in portraits, music bands or like super heroes…That’s what is my thinking right now…
At this point I am trying to remove the background….I am using GIMP and fuzzy tool….
I am trying to select everything that is not part of Mikros (it’s his name) and then delete it…But when I go into really big zoom, I am confused with which pixels i shall choose…Some are really similar and after I delete them i see that’s something is off…
Also I use the shift to multi-choose pixels…If I choose something and I want o go back but keep every other pixels in selection, how do I do that?
Finally Foreground select tool…How the hell does it work? I made a selection and closed it….So? How do I delete this area?
There is one easy way. The tool come from Adobe, and it is called Adobe Express (which comes with a free version), and it has a tool to remove background. Check for any tutorial how to remove background with Adobe Express.
Another way if you want to use Gimp, then check for the version you are using and on YouTube look for this tutorial : “Use This Gimp Tip to Remove Picture Backgrounds Quickly”.
There’s a plethora of free AI tools out there that can remove backgrounds, and even do the entire photo composition for you. All you need to do is put in the photo and ask the AI to put the subjects in whatever situation you want.
Removing background is quite easy the traditional way but can take practice
Remove.bg was a tool I used in the past, it was fast and free before AI took over.
It seems to charge now - or point towards Canva so some aliance with them.
I don’t use GIMP but hope the tutorial is helpful.
First of all thank you! Despite my denial you chose to help me…
I was struggling for days with AI to remove bg (which 3 AI gave me photos with 800*600) and then I asked to make me a group photo, but none of them gave me a result, despite the fact I was waiting for hours!!!
