I am currently working on my honours project ‘GDPR effects on privacy by design in online systems’. As part of my research, I am gathering data from professionals working in the web development industry. I would really appreciate if you could fill my questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 18 questions and its fully anonymous.
I started taking your survey then stopped midway through after realizing that here in the US, most web developers (including those on my staff) have paid little attention to the GDPR requirements since it’s a European thing. I wasn’t even sure how to answer some of your questions.
We need to get up to speed on this. Even though relatively little of our traffic originates from Europe, it’s still something we need to consider. I have a feeling that compliance will soon become a big deal, even here in the states.
