Grumpy Cat has passed away at 7. 
She probably never knew the many smiles she brought to so many, Here is a statement from her hoomans and a few of the better memes I’ve seen over the years.

It’s only been 7 years? Grump has been around it seems forever.
This is a sad thing.

Right? Feels like much longer. The cat was a pioneer. One of the original memes, not to mention paved the way for thousands of other cats to enter scene. Now, I’m not a cat person. But I respect the Grumpy Cat.
