I am so sad to hear of her passing. She seemed to never age. She was a favorite of mine. I loved her in The Godfather, Baby Boom, The Family Stone, Something’s Gotta Give and First Wives Club. (to name a few) She was such a pleasure to watch. RIP Diane 🩷

Seemed like she was always here and always would be. So shocking.

Until now, I wasn’t familiar with Drew Struzan, but I’ve seen his work. It’s nice to associate one with the other, even though it’s a bit late.

Oh! I didn’t know he did the cover for Welcome to My Nightmare - one of my all-time favourite albums.

I’ve gotta say that I fully understand why those guys covered their faces with makeup. :astonished:

I still remember when they took off the makeup for the first time with their debut of “Lick It Up” and Oh Mylanta! It was scarier than with it! It was just too funny. Such a bunch of butch guys suddenly in frilly blouses and kitten heel slouch booties  Still makes me giggle to think about it. I most remember Gene Simmons looking as though he was a psychopath who was smelling something bad through the whole video

They went from this:

To this in the blink of an eye

RIP Mani the bass player from the Stone Roses. He’s playing the main riff all through this song from 1989. I’ve tried to play it and I can’t.
