And the internet being what it is the boundaries are already being pushed with Steamboat Willie slasher movies, horror video games and NFT’s. This is going to be interesting.
It’s so boring that Steamboat Willie and Winnie the Pooh going public domain first result in slasher films that merely have the killer wearing a Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh mask.
I would think that this version of the character would be used in some type of animated film or comic book where it makes sense to use the character. See Anno Dracula or The League of Extraordinary Men.
