I feel like I should know this; but I don’t handle t-shirt production too often, the t-shirts I’ve done are typically spot color. I have a client interested in printing a photo on a t-shirt. I assume there is digital technology and vendors out there that can do this. If you have experience with this and can share any insight, that would be great. Or if you have recommendations on U.S.-based vendors that can print photos on t-shirts, that would be great, too.
You want to find someone how does direct-to-garment printing. A lot of local shops offer this now.
You might want to ask if they only do photos as dye sub on white shirts or if they can underspot white onto color shirts. You may have to provide the file as two layers, Content and White (usually the white is represented by a spot color like making a blue, green or pink into a spot color in the color palette and naming it Spot White.)
Ask them about washability…

You can screen print four colour.
I’ve personally done it on a machine nicknamed the helicopter. But it was 25 plus years ago.
I’m sure technology has moved on.

HI i did a test a few a hours ago and you can get information of t-shits products stores, if in google you add the information in the following : “t shirt manufacturer, near me”
Yes, I am aware you can do a search for "t-shirt manufacturer near me,” but I’ll take a trusted recommendation over a cold search any day of the week.

Yes that’s true ! better to contact trusted recommendation that use a cold search (you don’t know what surprise can be but in any case check the reviews of those stores !).
