Time to Fall Back! ⏰

And now we will go dark by 4:30 :frowning:

I’ve said it before … I’ll say it again - Not a fan of this

Yeah, getting dark so early is tough and the whole disoriented thing sucks.

Personal anecdote, I take advantage of being self employed by not setting an alarm — unless I have an early meeting. My philosophy is that the sunrise is God’s alarm clock, and I get up accordingly. Our bedroom doesn’t get light until 7:45 or so. So while I’m not a fan of shorter days, it will be nice to get up at a more respectable hour.

I like DST. It means it stays lighter later in the summer and I can go fishing after work. In the winter I don’t fish (freezing one’s arse off on a frozen lake catching fish basically with a hook and bobber is NOT fun or challenging.) I get up at 4am whether light or dark, workday or weekend. Takes about a week to reset for the added hour, but otherwise… All fine by me.

Most everyone disagrees on Daylight Saving Time, and I’m no exception.

For me, it’s exactly backwards. In the winter, I’d rather have an extra hour of daylight in the evening. With summer Daylight Saving Time, the sun stays up way too long. I end up not being able to sleep until well after midnight.
