Toblerone forced to change logo

The Swiss government is forcing the Switzerland-based chocolate company, Toblerone, to remove the Matterhorn from its logo. Apparently, Toblerone is setting up a new chocolate factory in Slovakia, which, according to Swiss law, means that Toblerone is no longer Swiss enough to use the Swiss mountain in its logo.

Toblerone plans to draw a new generic non-Swiss mountain peak to replace the Matterhorn. I wonder if they’ll be allowed to keep the hidden Swiss Bernese bear in the new logo.

Wow… that’s a pretty petty reason to have to change the logo

Didn’t even know that it was a Swiss mountain to begin with. :man_facepalming:
