Hey all,
as part of my research for a project, I was wondering have any of you (or people you know) have had any issues/ problems with being left handed and creating type, whether smudging sketch ideas/ creating calligraphy/ or any issues being a leftie affects your typographic work process?

Do you know what a Mahl stick is? If you’re a lefty and have smudging issues, you might consider one. I’m right-handed but use one to paint on canvas. I rest it on the edge, not directly on the image cuz I use oils.

I’ve used an Artists Bridge in the past. It’s made of clear acrylic. It’s the same principal as the Mahl stick but easier for flat surfaces.
