Here at the GDF we welcome members from all walks of life, all parts of the world, and with all levels of experience. This is a “mecca” for designers of all sorts, a place to learn, to share, and to grow.

If you register using your real name or if you post your full name, company name, client’s company name and then go on a full-blown rant or otherwise do something to embarrass yourself, there’s a good chance that your boss, your client, your significant other, or whoever else you DON’T want seeing it will stumble across it at some point.

I would just like to add

We were all newbies at one time, none of us sprang from the womb knowing that CMYK was for print and RGB was for web or that vector was the best format for logos. We learned these things and we should be happy to pass on our learning to others, and if we don’t feel like it then we should move on to a thread that does interest us. There really is no requirement that we reply in some form to every single post. Treat others in the same way that we would like to be treated ourselves, it’s called the golden rule and I have found it to be a fine way to live.
