Whatever it is, it sure looks like someone used software to condense it more than the base font.

Steve-O is right. The actual typeface is ‘almost’ unidentifiable in this state. It’s so compressed that I wouldn’t be surprised if those shapes between the characters were diamonds at one point.
You can try horizontally stretching back into, what could be, considered it’s original form.
