Feedback/ Criticism needed on website (UX/ UI)
I’ve just finished developing a site, Tracy; a fintech layer which allows users to track their payments like tracking a parcel.
The user simply loads up the Tract site, spends 40 seconds or so filing in some basic info, then sends a payment with a provider of their choice (Apple Pay, PayPal, Wise etc). The payment is handled within the site, but Tracy never touches the money- it just takes a record of the payment and tracks its journey.
The target audience is people who often have long ‘pending’ transactions; business owners or freelancers sending large sums, and those who frequently send money overseas.
This video demonstrates the basic ‘Send money’ flow, the logging in process, dashboard and help centre.
For context, this is a finished project. I have done several stages of research, ideation, usability testing, iterations, and have fully front-end developed the site in VS code. What you’re seeing is the ‘Finished product’ video created for my portfolio, and I am looking for feedback to put at the end of my case study.
Any feedback is appreciated, positive or negative, thanks !
You might get more feedback if you post a link to a live site or post screen captures rather than posting a link to a Google Drive.

The video looks great, but I can’t critique a website based on a video.
For that matter, even if I looked at your website, all I could critique is the user interface (UI).
I couldn’t evaluate the user experience (UX) unless I actually used the website a few times. Identifying problems with the UX typically involves user group testing — bringing in a random sample of potential users, then watching where they encounter problems, get confused, and hit dead ends when they’re asked to complete various tasks.
thanks Just-B - I’ve done multiple stages of user testing (mentioned in my post above). Analysed all sorts of metrics and iterated in accordance etc etc. The project is now finished and I am currently just looking for some feedback to put at the end of my case study. I can’t host the site indefinitely, and this is just a portfolio project, so simple feedback based on the video is sufficient for me
Thanks Steve_O. I sadly can’t host the site indefinitely, and this is just a portfolio project, so simple feedback based on the video is sufficient for me
Anyone is welcome to criticise or praise based on the UI/ functionality/ transitions they can see
