All the QR code generators I use offer a logo option that do not get obscured by the code pattern. I typically go for a QR code that looks like a QR code. Why hide it if you want people to scan it?
I’m not good at predicting what others might want, but at the moment all I can come with for what you’re offering is coasters at a bar or restaurant where people have time to fiddle with things.
I had a little difficulty scanning them using my iPhone – at least it took longer than usual.
