Hello. I just discovered this site while searching for help in designing a business card. I’m a retired acupuncturist and addictions counselor from Boston, Mass, USA who retired to Ajijic, a small town with many retired foreigners in the mountains of central Mexico. I’m a digital painter. All my life I believed what they told me in school, i.e. that I didn’t have what it took to be an artist. At age 65 I was introduced to the world of digital art and have been at it now for 15 years.
I have no training and don’t often make “big discoveries” that most people learn on day one. It keeps things exciting. I have a website www.steveklarer.com on which some of work is displayed. I am opening a small gallery since this town is regarded as an “artist colony” (it isn’t really.)
My apologies, b y the way, I know that saying I’m an American is wrong but there’s no generally accepted workaround. Everyone from Greenland to Tierra del Fuego is an American. Here in Mexico we can say EEUU for Estados Unidos.
