Greetings and salutations. Iām a new graphic designer with a Bachelors of Art under my belt and zero work experience outside of my background IT experience. 
My life story goes a little like this:
- Got an Art Bachelors.
- Could not find work, started working at a call center for several years.
- Got laid off from call center due to covid19.
- Looking for entry level design position for dream job.
Iām interested in conversing with like-minded individuals, and hearing from people with similar histories and from anyone who is willing to share their own stories on how they started out in this field. How long have you been a graphic designer? What were your hurtles or barriers you had to overcome? What did you do to get yourself noticed by hiring companies?
