Hello

Hi, My name is Amanda and I’m a graphic designer/ illustrator.

I graduated in 2017 with a bachelors degree in Visual Communications Design.
I have an anxiety disorder that I’ve been working on for a while. Because of this disorder, I do a very good job of not doing a good job in interviews. It also hinders me from going out, meeting people and being a part of something that will help me achieve my goals.

I have been doing freelance work since I’ve graduated but it has just been small projects on a freelancing platform. I wanted to find a design community where I can learn from real people on how to become a successful freelance designer/ illustrator. I would also love to be able to get constructive critiques on my works in progress. I want to be part of a community that will help me grow.

Thank you for listening!

Me too.

The GDF forum is an anxiety-free zone, though. There’s just no need for it here, so it’s good you found us.

Welcome Amanda!

Keep working on that portfolio and practice job interviews. You’ll get there.
