I’ve been looking for groups and pages to join for graphic designers but i can’t seem to find any that are located in America. Does anyone know a any groups or pages on FB that I could Find?

That’s an unusual request. Why does it need to be based in America? The internet doesn’t confine itself to national boundaries. This forum, the Graphic Design Forum, has forum members from every continent and a few island nations. However, since the agreed-upon language here is English, most of our forum members come from English-speaking countries or from places where English is widely spoken as a second language.
I think you’ll find the same to be true on Facebook. I doubt you’ll find any graphic design groups that restrict their membership to North America or, more specifically, the United States. However, I do belong to two design groups on Facebook that seem to be primarily British, but being from there isn’t a requirement. The very nature of Facebook probably means the majority of English-speaking design groups there will be heavily weighted toward North America. Still, as I mentioned, I know of none that are specifically American.

Go face-to-face
You can see if the AIGA has a chapter near you.
Some are more active than others.
And dues are involved.
The larger cities have get-together events, but it looks like they may have other group resources too.

There’s also the Society for Experiential Graphic Design. A little more specialized. And pricier dues.
And there is the Graphic Artists Guild (priciest.) Every designer starting out should have a copy of the GAG Handbook.
