Hello dear members, I am in the position to work on an international level, with a certain type of clients, that fits to my life style and ideas I come up with, so it goes round and round on a satisfactory way. I require your critique for this logo accompanying the post. The client requires a solid foundation, classical finishing and historical relevance that displays his heritage on a grand scale.
I wonder what message or point these logos are trying to convey. Please check my other comments, as I am tired of repeating myself. I have been thinking maybe you are a Ai,a Boy or a Bot?
The concept has a strong foundation, especially if the goal is to communicate heritage and a more classical identity. The panda is immediately recognizable, which gives the mark a clear starting point.
One area I’d explore is simplification and hierarchy. At the moment, the detailed elements can compete with the main panda form. If this needs to work for an international brand, the logo should remain recognizable when reduced to a small size, so I’d test a simplified version alongside the detailed one.
For the historical/heritage aspect, I’d also be careful not to rely only on decorative elements. The typography, proportions, and construction of the mark could communicate that feeling more subtly. A restrained serif typeface or a custom typographic treatment might strengthen the classical character without making the logo feel overly ornate.
I’d also test the logo in pure black and white and at small sizes. If the silhouette and typography still work without the supporting details, you’ll have a much stronger foundation for different applications.
Overall, I’d keep the core panda idea but refine the visual hierarchy and make sure every element is contributing to the heritage concept rather than simply adding decoration.
