Sad timing but a welcome reminder that we are still listening to this stuff and his legacy lives on.
Fairly obscure outside the older music lovers, The Buzzcocks nevertheless are acknowledged as a definitively seminal band of the era.
Fave tracks;
Boredom
What Do I Get
Everybody’s Happy Nowadays
You Say You Don’t Love Me
and of course …
Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t Have Fallen In Love With)
What timing
Oh, man, note to self: no more posting in the music thread.
I know who I’ll be listening to at work today.
Buzzcocks fans here too. My 15 year old does a cover of Ever Fallen In Love. I sent it to them on Facebook earlier this year. She was over the moon when they told her she did a great job. They’re on my playlists today too.
RIP, Geniuswoman

James Ingram’s Just Once is a song that brings back very vivid memories of an old girlfriend. It’s amazing how music can pull a person back in time as though no time had gone by at all.
Albert Finney has passed. He was 82. RIP Mr. Finney I loved so many of his performances . I really loved him in Big Fish. But, there were sooooo many.
Damn. The Monkees and me got some history.
