Other than Blade Runner, I don’t think I’ve seen him in anything.

I’ve seen him in Ladyhawke, Flesh and Blood (a very B movie with lots of boobies in the 80’s), The Hitcher, Batman Begins, Blind Fury and of course Blade Runner. He’s been a bit actor in tons more movies and a few German movies as far as I know. He was great in The Hitcher. Quite the thriller.

A fine and versatile actor, Rutger Hauer will always be remembered for his performance in Blade Runner.

I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

He added ‘All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain’ in a moment of improvisation. These are the words that stay with me.

RIP Jessi Combs :pensive: She died in a jet car crashing in the Alvord Desert in southeastern Oregon while attempting to break a land speed record. She was only 36. She was known as the “Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” She was co-host on the Spike TV series XTreme 4×4 for years. She was also part of Mythbusters on season 7. She achieved the women’s 4-wheel land speed record in 2013, with a top speed of 440.709 mph. In 2016, she set a new top speed record of 477.59 mph.

Valerie Harper has passed at 80.
She made it 10 years since the initial cancer diagnosis.
She will probably always be remember most for her beloved character Rhoda Morgenstern. RIP Valerie  You fought a good fight

I don’t watch much television, but the old Mary Tyler Moore Show was one where I likely watched every episode more than once. I most definitely remember Rhoda on the show.

Well damn, this is just about the most depressing thread ever.

Photographer Peter Lindbergh died Tuesday at the age of 74. I’ve always loved his work. I think his big claim to fame was what he did for the super models of the 90’s. But, all his photos are fantastic. They all evoke emotion of one sort or another. Sultry, sad or gritty come to mind immediately … but there many layers in his photos. RIP Peter

Ric Ocasek has passed. He was 75. This is becoming a near daily occurrence with the Rock God’s aging out. They are all in their 70’s if not older. At least all the Rockers from my era. RIP Rick

Seems really weird that she was that old. I’m probably one of the very few here who remembers her from Julia back in the '60s.
