I was looking for what little trace of innocence still left in me. RKK, thanks for finding it for me with your sweet story!
I love photography, but suck at it. Is okay. Once in a while I get a shot I really like. This is one of them. Taken years ago of my napping dog.
Such a great shot I love seeing Maggie
Beautiful!
I thought the cat could shoot hoops …as in the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Of course cats can’t shoot hoops
Wonderful capture … great atmosphere.
This isn’t a great photo or anything, but it’s an absolutely clear and warm June 30 as seen from our house in Salt Lake. In the distance is the downtown area. Beyond that is Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake. More often than not, there’s too much air pollution to see this far.
Two photos from a group of Sequoias named The Senate. I think Sequoia National Park is my favorite park anywhere. It’s not especially crowded, there are plenty of hiking trails, and the ancient and gigantic trees are nothing short of mind boggling and humbling. No photo or description can even begin to do them justice.
What a view!!!
They are gorgeous!
From my recent boat trip with my sister. I’ve lived here all my life and had never been on one … that whole open water thing I have. She assured me we weren’t on the Titanic and we would be ok LOLOL … she is such a smartass. We indeed were and I really enjoyed myself. It’s good to break out of one’s comfort zone and shake the dust off.
Here is one of the boat I took last year when the Steamboat company was closed. No way to get this shot now … wayyyy too many tourists lol
Looks like lots of fun to me.!
I skipped work today and ended up on a 5-mile hike into the mountains east of town. I think I’ll skip work more often.
That’s a gorgeous view!
This is an old shot from a vacation years back, but one of my all-time favorites. It’s a kind of an internal hobby of mine, naming things like photos. My name for this one is “Gone East on Foot”.
If I had views like that, B, I’d definitely do more hiking.
That is so sweet
My Moms channeling her inner tube (get it) shes 70
Waterfall in Susquehanna State Park, MD. Took the kids on a 5mile hike through woods, farm, along train tracks. Explored nature and the historic grist mill in our hike.
