I know, right! Shocking how underappreciated this guy is. Spread the word!

I would consider it high praise to compare him to the late, great Townes Van Zandt.

Tom Petty, just became the first to place posthumously in a Billboard top 10 list (Adult Alternatives) with this:

But I like this muuuch one better:

Praise indeed! I love the Willie and Merle Haggard version of this track as well, but then I’m a huge Merle fan lol

Good picks there PD! This is from what I believe was Pettys last live show.

I like the stuff he did with the Travelling Wilburys too.

My dad told me recently he wants this played at his funeral…

I’m usually into the heavier stuff, but I have a major soft spot for folk music. This song recently is just really doing it for me.

I like a lot of the Willbury’s stuff. That End of the Line video is a killer. Love the empty rocker for Roy. I more like the fun stuff like the Willbury Twist or the long one, Tweeter and the Monkey Man.

Petty was bearded for most if not all of the 2017 tour.
Here’s his last song. You can see him limping from the fractured hip he had.

Yeah, the rocking chair was a nice touch. I think Roy actually died just before the shooting of that video. Love the big O. Oh yeah, tweeter and the monkeyman is brilliant too!

Crap, not sure how I got that wrong, just found the same concert I posted before on a video from 2009. Sorry, still its great quality recording of that concert.

Get this down ya!

and this!

Both of those are great.

I was rather into Pentangle, Airport Convention and the like. Never upgraded to music videos, except maybe concert footage.

Dammit, I meant Fairport Convention.

Marilyn Manson - Running To The Edge Of The World

Ugh, this is so good, it hurts.

Slow: Beady Belle! If you like her style, you like all her high quality albums with great lyrices too!

Slow: Nitin Sawney. Everything this multi-instrumentalist perfectionist touches is gold really!

Uptempo: Stanton warriors breakbeat podcasts on iTunes. They are massive if you want to speed up your workflow!! (especially their live-mixes on itunes are great!)

Uptempo drum’n’bass: Horton has some real great mixes which get you on hyperspeed on his youtube channel while working

New disturbed hits home for me !
