How's your weather?

Err … it is Spring … right???
:astonished:

It’s still coming down and expected to go all day

It’s moment like this that makes a driveway look like the runway of an aircraft carrier.

Took this about 4pm. It’s supposed to taper off around 9:30 tonight  No sign of stopping right now though

That’s way too much snow for late March. Early spring is like that, though — a few nice days followed by a return to January. This past week, it’s been warm and sunny here. Our apricot tree is in full bloom. Those blossoms will freeze over the next week when snow showers are supposed to return.

We’ve had six inches of snow yesterday. Not exactly the “good ol’ day”.

Pretty much on cue … it’s stopped … whew!

We only got about 2" before it turned to rain. Then freezing rain. The sun was out this morning and it was reeeeaaally pretty out there with a 1/4" of ice on all the trees. Didn’t get out to do the groceries until the sanders went by though.

Here in Michigan, we got hit with 4 inches of snow on Friday, 3/21,
then 38 on Saturday and Sunday, and today, 58 degrees!
All snow is gone!
But hey, that’s our goofy weather!

I heard we are supposed to be in the 60’s next week. I’m looking forward to that

Really interesting reading this as a Brazilian. We’ve just entered fall, but at the moment we’re experiencing what we call ‘March’s Waters’ (‘Águas de Março’), because as we exit summer, temperatures remain very high, resulting in rainstorms worthy of civil warnings. Fortunately, soon temperatures will become milder, and I won’t end up coming home with my sneakers soaked from the rain.

I envy people like you who live in tropical latitudes and don’t experience the big seasonal shifts in temperature between winter and summer. I’ve never liked cold temperatures and piles of snow making everything I like to do outdoors more difficult or impossible.

I totally get how heavy snow must be the worst, but I wished we had cooler temperatures, I really dislike hot weather :joy: but here it’s basically summer for 10 months straight

Pretty much perfect spring weather for a nice, long bike ride. The second photo was taken from the middle of a bridge over the Missouri River.

Beautiful!

We have had steady rain and gray skies since the snowpocalypse LOL

Today, however we had beautiful sunny skies! Yay! :sun_with_face:

Another spectacular weekend. Gotta get out and enjoy it while the gettin’ is good.

Oh, that looks so nice. Green grass, a lazy road, tree blossoms, a blue sky, nice temperatures, and the perfect bike to accompany it.

I wanted to ride my mountain bike today, but the tail end of a snowstorm was blowing over, and the temperatures were in the 40s F. Maybe tomorrow.

That’s a spot-on description of the day.

It was just nice enough to get out in the backyard with my metal detector yesterday, for about the 5th time since I bought it. It’s been windy here - 20-25mph G40+mph for two to three days. The skies have been gray with dust rather than clouds.

Today is supposed to be a nice balmy 70ish, calm wind and clear sky.

Here in Toronto there’s going to be at least a week’s worth of 10ºC+ weather. April, however, is not immune to a blizzard or two. It’s quite drama filled.

It’s the big Solar Eclipse day here in the US (and Mexico and Canada). Unfortunately we are supposed to have partly cloudy conditions, but still looking forward to it as being here in Dallas we get full totality. Is anyone else in the path of totality?
