It was about the time the brats took over. Didn’t have the patience to last too long. It was done not too long after.
The demise of the old HOW forum was how I ended up here. I can’t even remember my user name there, but I remember the forum turning into a real mess with almost no oversight from the owners at HOW. The moderators didn’t have enough authority to rein in the problems or, for that matter, even deal with the spam that eventually took over.
I got so annoyed with HOW’s incompetence that I even let my subscription to the magazine expire. I remember writing a snarky email to the magazine proposing an article on HOW not to run a forum. I never heard back from them.
It was prone to drama at times, but a lot of good happened there, too.

The only bright side (pun intended) is that it will be lighter in the morning. But overall, yeah, I never look forward to DST ending.

I wish they would just do away with it 
I like DST. It means I can fish to almost 9pm in the summer after work.
