What'cha Watchin'? (Possible Spoilers)

I’ve just started watching Lucifer on Netflix. I’m nearing the end of season 2. It’s about one of the funniest (dark humor) shows I’ve seen in a while. The writing is really good.

I’m also starting season 7 of The Blacklist since they just added it to Netflix

Out of curiosity the other day, I opened Nexflix’s My Octopus Teacher. It’s a South African documentary made by a filmmaker and diver who becomes obsessed with an octopus. Over the course of a year, he befriends it and visits it every day. It sounds weird, but I found it totally fascinating.

I don’t watch TV anymore.
That being said, My wife is into Poldark on Prime.
I keep her company. It’s very well done.
The cinematography is outstanding.
I do watch videos on youtube.
Mostly woodworking. Woodturning and resin pours are my latest faves.
Then there’s How Ridiculous, where they drop things from a 45meter tower.

I vaguely remember watching a Poldark mini-series (Robin Ellis.) That was back in 1975…
I haven’t watched TV in years except for the Pats and this year I’ve seen maybe 20 minutes of a game. If that. I’ve found I have better things to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Have you heard Tom Ellis do “All Along the Watchtower” on piano? God he’s good.

Yes! Some of my favorite scenes are his piano and singing moments

Maybe you’re like me and saw the banner for a movie called The Assistant on Hulu. And maybe you’re like me and recognized the star as being Ruth from Ozark. And maybe you’re like me and watched the trailer and thought it looked like a good thriller and added it to your que. Don’t be like me and waste and hour and a half of your time watching it. It’s not a thriller. It’s not thrilling. The only possible thrill is that you’re waiting for something to happen that never does. I want my hour and a half back.

The only original content on Hulu I’ve watched is Castlerock. I love that series. I hope #3 is somewhere in the future. Otherwise it’s old TV shows and movies I’ve seen a million times

Not been watching a lot of TV, but last night I stumbled upon an episode of NOVA on PBS A to Z: The First Alphabet, about the beginning and evolution of the written languages from different cultures.

It was quite fascinating to realize that there were more similarities than differences among the world’s “First Nations”.

Started watching ‘Them’ on Amazon Prime. It’s really really good.
It’s supernatural side to it - but it makes you think if it is or they just gone cray-cray.

Highly recommend.

I am psyched. Terriers is on Hulu. It’s a fun, buddy-cop, dramedy sort of series. Not too long of a series, so it’s not a big commitment.

Plus, it has one of the best theme songs ever.

Another recommendation. Check out The Kominsky Method on Netflix.

When I am not watching new episodes of Cat Fish…I watch Netflix Top Rated Movies and TV shows. I am definitely a binge watcher though. Currently, I am watching Lupin. https://youtu.be/ga0iTWXCGa0

Nice! I watched the first couple seasons, need to get back into it now that they’ve brought God into it, ha.

I’ve been watching Queen’s Gambit, Schitts Creek, and Orphan Black lately. Then I’m a big whovian so of course sprinkle in some Doctor Who (: (pre writer’s change, Chris Chibnall has done a horrible job)

Don’t get me started on Doctor Who … I adore it and watched it several times over. Just wondering when we will ever get a new season

Where are you seeing Dr. Who? All I’ve ever managed to find are sporadic, years-old episodes. I thought the UK was holding it over their former colonies’ heads as 240-year-old retribution of some kind.

This reminds me of an old British Airways ad campaign (mid-70s?) with Robert Morley as spokesman: “Come home. All is forgiven.”
