What'cha Watchin'? (Possible Spoilers)

when someone who lived in Chernobyl in 1986 protest the contamination and the US gov in 2015, something was always wrong.

Currently enjoying Blacklist.

Cat and mouse spy activities.
Dark humor.
Violence … but not prolonged to the point of making me want to switch it off.
James Spader. Enough said. His character is a delight

the diner episode was great, ā€œand put 2 slices of the great pecan pie in a bagā€ while the entire FBI, helicopters and all were outside.

Just finished the 4th season of Van Helsing, here is a trailer of season 1:

I’m currently watching a Norwegian TV-series about a guy that’s been touched by an old women and is now developing powers that old Viking gods used to have. Kinda hard to explain as I’m just in the very first few episodes, here is a trailer:

I usually don’t watch Scandinavian movies or TV-series but if the subject is interesting I seem to appreciate and like it more and more.

I just started Locke & Key on Netflix, watched the first couple of eps and it looks promising. Kinda creepy and cool. And there’s kids so hopefully it won’t be THAT scary.

I liked Locke & Key! Kinda reminded me of Haunting at Hill House but less ā€œscaryā€ and more sci-fi than supernatural.

LOL, I couldn’t do Haunting at Hill House too scary. I’m ok if I’m watching with someone else but watching alone I get freaked out. Plus I live in a haunted house, don’t want to give anyone any ideas.

I watched the remake on Netflix and it was really good. A bit scary… but not gross scary. I hate those

It’s ā€œHow to get away with murderā€ series

I like the first three seasons, couldn’t help watching them. But after the forth season I lost interest.

I’ve just started watching Lucifer on Netflix. I’m nearing the end of season 2. It’s about one of the funniest (dark humor) shows I’ve seen in a while. The writing is really good.

I’m also starting season 7 of The Blacklist since they just added it to Netflix

Out of curiosity the other day, I opened Nexflix’s My Octopus Teacher. It’s a South African documentary made by a filmmaker and diver who becomes obsessed with an octopus. Over the course of a year, he befriends it and visits it every day. It sounds weird, but I found it totally fascinating.

I don’t watch TV anymore.
That being said, My wife is into Poldark on Prime.
I keep her company. It’s very well done.
The cinematography is outstanding.
I do watch videos on youtube.
Mostly woodworking. Woodturning and resin pours are my latest faves.
Then there’s How Ridiculous, where they drop things from a 45meter tower.

I vaguely remember watching a Poldark mini-series (Robin Ellis.) That was back in 1975…
I haven’t watched TV in years except for the Pats and this year I’ve seen maybe 20 minutes of a game. If that. I’ve found I have better things to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Have you heard Tom Ellis do ā€œAll Along the Watchtowerā€ on piano? God he’s good.

Yes! Some of my favorite scenes are his piano and singing moments

Maybe you’re like me and saw the banner for a movie called The Assistant on Hulu. And maybe you’re like me and recognized the star as being Ruth from Ozark. And maybe you’re like me and watched the trailer and thought it looked like a good thriller and added it to your que. Don’t be like me and waste and hour and a half of your time watching it. It’s not a thriller. It’s not thrilling. The only possible thrill is that you’re waiting for something to happen that never does. I want my hour and a half back.

The only original content on Hulu I’ve watched is Castlerock. I love that series. I hope #3 is somewhere in the future. Otherwise it’s old TV shows and movies I’ve seen a million times
